Our journey into homebuilding started with our own search for the perfect place to call home. In 2014, when we decided to settle down in Peoria, Illinois, we toured countless houses for sale—only to realize that most just didn’t meet our needs. One thing we kept running into? Basements with the furnace awkwardly installed right in the middle, disrupting both layout and livability.
After months of frustration, we finally chose to build our own home—designed exactly the way we wanted, with every detail reflecting how we truly live. That first build was more than just a personal milestone—it was a turning point. The process taught us invaluable lessons about smart design, functionality, and the importance of quality craftsmanship.
Since then, we’ve made it our mission to help others avoid the same headaches we faced.
